The purpose of this thesis is to examine the fact that various efforts have been made to make the state of peace from the unstable state that lasted for more than half a century between the two Koreas from the perspective of the theory of Peacebuilding. Peacebuilding is the process of establishing a peaceful structure and relationship by diagnosing and prescribing various factors that cause a conflict situation. In recent years, the concept of peace-building includes not only the restoration of conflict and conflict society, but also the process of resolving the violent structures spread throughout society to achieve just and sustainable peace, as well as approaches and activities to resolve various problems arising in the process. I'm making it. The case of peace building was examined at the level of inter-Korean relations by categorizing the peace-building sector into four categories: military security, politics, socio-economic, and reconciliation and justice. Discussions on the establishment of peace between the two Koreas were mainly focused on building military trust and easing tensions. In the politics and reconciliation and justice sectors, measures to establish peace were found to be insufficient. In addition, most of the agreements, measures, and implementations between the two Koreas focused on passive peace, that is, preventing the recurrence of war, rather than the positive peace dimension pursuing long-term and sustainable peace. It is necessary to recognize that real peacebuilding is possible not only in the military and security sectors, but also when other sectors are fused and harmonized with each other.
